Yoga

Yoga is a Sanskrit word translated as “yoke” or “union.” To yoke means to draw together, to bind together; or to unite. Its aim is to yoke or create a union of the body, mind, soul, and universal consciousness. This process of uniting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of ourselves is what allows yogis to experience deep states of freedom, peace and self-realization.

Private Yoga Session

This session works for all levels of experience.  It is great for seekers who want a personal practice they can work with as a daily or weekly structured set of exercises and meditations.  We start the journey a few days before your session, with a consultation, identifying what your goals are.  Then we meet for the transmission.  A 75-minute private yoga session with the healing vibrations of the gong.  You will be sent home with an instruction sheet, your personal yoga set and a meditation to work with.  This will be sent through email.  I will also link you to the playlist I created for our session.  The most potent results happen when you do this practice for 40 days in a row.  It is ultimately up to you, how you want to work with it.  If once per week is better, you can stretch out your timeline to 40 weeks.  Most of my clients over the years have said that "Day 40" is miraculous!  They actually felt the shift in their presence and achieved what they set out.  I will be available to you for questions or support for 40 days after our session.

KRI CYT 200

CYT 500

I began my yoga study in the year 2000, with my foundation in Hatha Yoga.  In 2002 I found Shakti Yoga Dance and in 2008, became a guide of this ecstatic embodiment practice.  In 2010 I found Kundalini Yoga and became a certified teacher in 2012.  Kundalini Yoga has been my main practice ever since.  I never resonated with the lifestyle or culture that sprung up around this lineage. I simply appreciated the yoga technology and teach from my own relationship with the work.  The combination of asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation clear and energize all the systems in the human field.  It enlivens our senses and helps us become aware of Univeral consciousness within.  It's a powerful practice so it's not for the faint of heart.  We will bump into our shadows and blockages on the Soul's journey of evolution.  Kundalini Yoga gives us tools of discipline to constructively move through these stressors and overcome.  In 2020 I jumped into a teacher training called the Beloved Heart.  It was a wonderful sampling of many forms of yoga and guest teachers.  It made me realize that it's good to change up embodiment practices, depending on what is needed for the time.  Also, that every teacher has their unique essence and teaching style so find the one that resonates with you.  Thanks for reading this. Deep bow in gratitude.
